how to update apps

You can update apps manually through your device's app store or enable automatic updates in the settings menu.

Android Devices. Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, and select Manage apps & device. You can then tap Update all or select individual apps to update. You can also enable automatic updates in Settings under Network preferences.
iPhone and iPad. Open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and scroll to see pending updates. You can tap Update next to a specific app or select Update All. Automatic updates can be managed in your device's main Settings under App Store.
Windows 11. Open the Microsoft Store, select Library, and click Update or Update All. You can enable automatic updates by selecting your profile icon in the Store, going to Settings, and turning on App Updates.
Non-Store Apps. For apps not from the Microsoft Store, check for an update option within the app's menu (often under Help or About) or download the latest installer directly from the developer's website. Windows users can also use the winget command-line tool.
