how to connect airpods to a laptop

You can connect AirPods to a laptop by putting them into pairing mode and selecting them from your computer's Bluetooth settings menu.

Enter Pairing Mode. For most AirPods, hold the setup button on the back of the case. For AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3, double-tap the front of the case. The status light will flash white when in pairing mode.
Access Bluetooth Settings. On Windows, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices (or Devices) and select Add device. On Mac, go to System Settings > Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
Complete Connection. Once your laptop scans for nearby devices, select your AirPods from the list to pair them. You may need to click Connect or confirm the pairing request.
Automatic Connection on Mac. If your Mac is signed into the same iCloud account as your iPhone, your AirPods may connect automatically without needing to manually pair them.
